MORNINGS

Plan on either picking up or dropping off supplies once each day. Communicate with your partner (lead cleaner) about who will do what for the day.

Fold rags if you are at the office in the morning. 

 

MISC

Be careful about parking far enough away from mailboxes and garbage bins at clients’ homes.

Clean out the set of supplies on the last work day of the lead’s week.

LEADS

Send client text reminders no later than 9am the day before their cleaning

Text your partner for the following day and make a driving/meeting plan

 

CLEANING

Be sure to clean at least one detail/extra project per house and let the client know via note or text

Make certain to lock up client’s house (all doors/windows) and scramble the lockbox code

 

PUNCHING IN AND OUT

Punch in and out at the very beginning and very end of each shift using the “Non-Cleaning Time” event in ZenMaid.

  • If you are PICKING UP supplies: Arrive at the office by 8:15 am and clock in to Non-Cleaning Time immediately. Stay clocked in to NCT until the end of your last house of the day, then clock out of both the house and NCT before you drive away from the house.

  • If you are DROPPING OFF supplies: Arrive at your first house by 9am and clock in to Non-Cleaning Time immediately. Do not clock in to your first house until your partner(s) have arrived and you are about to exit your vehicle. Stay clocked in to NCT until you have finished dropping off supplies at the office.

Please notify the managers ASAP about any errors, mistakes, etc.

 

MILEAGE TRACKING

Record starting mileage at the very beginning of your day when you clock in to Non-Cleaning Time and ending mileage at the very end of each shift when you clock out of Non-Cleaning Time using your mileage tracking booklet or an app. You can also do this by zeroing your trip odometer in your vehicle when you clock into Non-Cleaning Time and writing down the total miles driven when you clock out of Non-Cleaning Time.

If you are using the booklet, please use up every space, and calculate your mileage for the two week period. Send the mileage total in your group chat with all managers every other Friday (the Friday that is not payday). A reminder will be sent in the All Staff group chat.
